They take a 1/4 ownership of openAI and allowed to use their AI models and sourcecode for 6 more years after that MSFT is cut off. Sam Altman may have just created another Mega tech beast AI competitor in the form of MSFT to compete against alongside GOOG soon we'll have a 3 way AI battle but the difference is MSFT and GOOG have 50x the war chest cash to burn
