I’m with you. I don’t think Open is going to survive much longer independently and will probably get bought my MSFT soon, maybe within 12 months. NVDA seems under water with raw power cooling off and of course Uncle Sam will be the knight in shining armor while tax payers take the biggest loss 

And yet, AMZN/GOOGL/MSFT all do the same thing, and get praised for it? Where's the logic in that? Yeah, Llama isn't widely used yet, but the idea of build the capacity then implement it is nothing new. AMZN did that with AWS. If META WASN'T spending that money, they'd get slammed for falling behind in the AI arms race and would equally get punished. There's so much shit AI can do for a social media company in providing suggestions to keep users online longer. Like tiktok does with their incredibly powerful algorithm.

MSFT downgrade was a long time coming. They haven't done anything significant other than play 2nd fiddle to Sam Altman/OpenAI's tune just riding Altman's coattails. But this new AI deal with NVDA that doesn't involve openAI is very exciting. It means Nadella is taking the upcoming divorce from OpenAI seriously and is making their own independent in house AI
