Remember it was earlier reported in Sept 2005 that $AMZN/$GOOG tell Jensen in advance of public announcements about their in-house AI chip developments because they don't want to surprise him. No clue what $META is thinking about TPUs, or even the "DisInformation" article is true, but if Zuck was spending NBA salaries to hire glorified data labelers, it's probably not prudent.

Goog showed the world last week that you can build best-in-class AI without relying solely on NVDA and 10 minutes ago that is cemented with this rumour that Meta is interested in Google TPU. Basically the idea that NVDA has in insurmountable mote is quickly dissolving.
