AVGO has been mentioning there are only about potential 8-10 companies who can try to develop custom ASICs given the large-scale nature of the business. Google, Meta, ByteDance, Anthropic, OpenAI have already made the list, customer #5 is potentially the sixth customer (despite the misnomer) and could be Apple given they are one of few remaining traditional companies with a deep enough balance sheet to fund long-term agreements

Not sure how that’s a contradiction. META takes on a $100bn loan at 2% backed against 10 years of profits. The banks that issued that loan now no longer have $100bn in liquidity to play with. In the last year hundreds of billions have been issued to these mega caps for their AI investments. This is why the repo market and lack of liquidity are a big deal. Comparing QE from Covid is also disingenuous, because they dropped rates to 0% allowing debt to be issued at the cheapest ever, debt which flooded in to the market and VCs because returns out paced the interest on the debt. My total net worth is around $8m, I keep $500k in my portfolio and withdraw everything above that to invest in property. I DCA VOO $4k every day for emergency fund.

Unless there's new news, I'm not sure you're correct.  MSFT, META, ByteDance, and Google are known customers.  They are in development with OPENAi and havent reported revenue or backlog on them that I know of.

There are only 9 companies in the trilly club. The average weighted PE is 45.6. If you remove Berkshire its 49. If you drop the only two in the 20s Google and meta its 60. The world's most valuable companies cost about 60$ per dollar of future earnings.

META needs to get its shit together. I see article after article of how META is the next big MAG7 stock that'll rocket, that it now has a lower P/E ratio than Google. Ok, then do it. META is floundering at 650 when all these "analysts" say it should be 850-1000. Fucking do it.
