Zuck doesn't know what he wants or what to do, throwing billions at AI All-Star team is not going to solve one of the biggest challenges in his lifetime: Social media in the age of AI will suffer a slow (or fast) painful death. People stopped posting shit about their lives, stopped sharing pictures and videos of their vacations and dinners; it's all influencers and AI slop now. Bots talking to other bots. Advertising dollars will likely go to other mediums. It won't happen overnight, but the writing is on the wall.

Think the issue with Meta is that it continues to spend a crazy amount and show lackluster results for that spend. This becomes an even bigger problem when other mega tech companies are seeing results in AI and Meta seems to have stalled in their progress after gaining a big premium on their valuation all year long
