Be careful what you Warsh for: market seems to be thinking Kevin Warsh signals some sort of fed reasonableness / independence. In normal times it wouldn't matter, but he's Ronald Lauder's (dude wants to annex greenland) son-in-law and Mar-a-Lago associated through and through. So, the market is doing a Scott Bessent; reading the appointment as a sign of common sense but actually its continuing the fed capture narrative to try and appoint him.
