My medium term plays are $TOST and $UPST. Both having a good day and week here. By end of the earnings season I expect significant break outs. Strong signal IMO is seeing green on days where the overall market and tech is red, signaling some belief of real business growth and reallocation towards value plays on days where big names are liquidated.

I’m entering first short positions into smh and nvda as of today. Potentially we see the first week news this quarter but is not this quarter, q2 latest imo.

If you're sure of gold pump long term, then DCA imo. That's what I'm doing over the next couple weeks as I expect a big selloff over the next couple days. Personally, the only thing I see that will cause a big permanent selloff is if tariffs are entirely canceled and Federal Reserve decide inflation is too high and raise rates (both extremely unlikely at the moment). Everything else that is happening is devaluing fiat currencies. Some examples: * rate cuts - especially USD because the US govt is determined to fund the tax cuts for billionaires and corporations and the Fed is pressured to cut rates at the moment due to the recent bad jobs data revisions. All the other central banks usually follow the moves of Federal Reserve. * loss of trust in US financial data and institutions * increased govt spending in EU in preparation for Putin invasion * overall increasing geopolitical risks around the globe

For me, gold will start to substantially go down when the dollar starts gaining ground in a meaningful way. Given how the state of the country is viewed internationally…Im thinking the world’s appetite for the dollar will continue to go down until something changes…so for me thatd be towards the end of next year or even in 3 years. Also its seen as an inflation hedge, so with rates going down thats bullish for gold imo. Tariffs, whether they stay in their current form or not, are also inflationary and are also seen as a bit of an uncertainty given how theyve been seemingly placed and replaced out of nowhere, and gold is *also* seen as a hedge against uncertainty. Basically this, for me, is the perfect macro-economic storm for gold to be doing what its doing. When any of these factors change, ill reassess my outlook on gold. But for now, I remain bullish.

PFE day chart has now turned bullish like I called earlier today. 24.42 new floor to remain on bullish trend for the day. Looking strong though. Waiting for the 15min to turn bullish then 4hr to follow around 1pm imo.

IMO 30-60 DTE around 0.3-.35 delta will provide good protection. If you want to protect against bigger moves only then buy 0.2-0.25 delta.

How do you handle this scenario? I had a stop/loss on a LLY option at 4. It closed at 7. Overnight there was a drop in LLY price. This morning Etrade exercised the stop loss at .01 making it worthless. I held 1 which opened at 2.33. IMO etrade exercised the price of .01 before pricing was released. There is usually a delay with option pricing. Did i get screwed?
