Hahah yes USO. It was so outrageously high already I thought we might see a temporary solution pop up to cause a pull back. Bought Friday before close, but I have several months so it’s not total disaster

WTI is in the futures market which I can’t trade, I just double checked. The issue is not that I can’t follow oil’s price, I can do that through USO. The issue is that I can’t get in with options right when USO catches up to WTI’s movement, because it’ll catch up during pre-market and I can’t buy a call until market open. Thus theres risk of me losing profit from not being able to get in immediately. I still think a call will be worth it at market open, but I’ll probably have already lost some profits.

I have 100k in uso mar calls and and 33k in spx puts expiring wednesday so somehow everything thats happened this weekend will be solved by open.

Oil, USO, UCO calls at open feel like such an obvious play that we must be missing something. If everyone knows oil is going up isn’t it already priced in??

Any predictions for USO on Monday? With all the oil fields getting hit, I think it will be $120. I bought USO $100 calls exp 3/20 but sold for only 200% gains Friday at open. I think it will go a lot higher
