can't make a post if anyone's interested, feel free tldr: We are currently witnessing one of the most aggressive all-in bets by a billionaire which is largely uncovered. Eric Sprott initially bet 190m USD into HYMC Hycroft, it has grown into an 800m USD position which is just shy of 40% of Hycroft's float. He averaged up an extra 3m to his 800m USD stake on 9 Jan at ATH, first buy at 6$ last at buy at 26$. He has about less than half of his multi-billionaire net worth riding on this position. Worth tracking to see if a billion dollar bet goes up in flames, will be historical either way. proof, eric's vehicle: look up sec4 of 2176423 Ontario Ltd [https://www.secform4.com/insider-trading/1925668.htm](https://www.secform4.com/insider-trading/1925668.htm) Background: Formerly owned and entangled with AMC and the meme basket, it has been largely sold off to institutions. The core investor structure at just shy of 60% are notable mining funds, Eric Sprott (\~40%), mining funds and blackrock's active funds. Online discourse still largely follows around the AMC/meme hype which is perhaps why the stock is under-reported. It's largely known as open low grade pit, worthless if gold and silver price is too low. Extremely/exponentially valuable when gold and silver spot price exceeds cost of mining low grade (call option on gold and silver). 2025 had a slew of exploration which resulted in high grade intercepts leading to its 1000% run up. Upside: Additional drill assays and resource update due early Q1 2026, if it proves Hycroft has high grade resources, it could become one of the biggest tier 1 silver+gold assets in the US. Located in Nevada and already a former active mine, it has the infrastructure and eco-system ready. If it has high grade silver, a starter mine can be built which allows the low grade to be mined without further dilution. Downside: Dilution risk, mines are usually funded via dilution sales, this won't be the case if the high grade is true. If its just the low grade pit, Hycroft is already fairly priced or slightly over priced. If silver price crashes, Hycroft is worthless as the low grade can't be mined economically. My speculation: Precious metal wars heating up geographically, US needs to secure silver and gold resource locally. High grade is already largely proven and hinted at various updates and videos by the CEO. Just needs to be written into the official reports (first one i guess out this week or next). Eric's been buying non-stop from Sep 25 - last week, he's seen the geological evidence as the major shareholder, its already de-risked. Prime take over target by its Nevada neighbour Barrick next door who has the cash. My position: 10k shares (bought from 16-28) and 100 calls (feb 25$ + may 30$). Exit target $60-100+, decide on Q1 reports.

It might stabilize but it won't rise. Its been going through hyperinflation and their economy has become dollarized where everything of value is priced in USD. If there is a recovery it will stabilize the currency but even that will take a lot of reform and time. Stay away from fx man. Its worse than a casino, like an illegal gambling parlor in a Russian brothel.

\> What's your account size? These particular trades were backed / collateralized with \~1m USD (\~2m of margin at 2:1). If I get assigned - wheel them (ie: sell CC's on them). Run the same strategy with CC's. I made \~3% on risked collateral selling these today. Worse case - if assigned I assume a \~2:1 leveraged long on SLV. I traded \~3k contracts today (\~21m in silver if exercised) - but my max exposure at once was 250 contracts, and that's the same amount of risk I'm assuming overnight (-> \~1.7m if assigned shares -- which is within my limits). \--- \> And since it's intraday, how would you manage if SLV gapped down below your CSP, let's say to 64? If it gaps down - just hold. The idea is that I assume the assignment risk and IF I do get assigned that's ok. I wanted to buy SLV anyways. I'm only selling CSPs at entrances I'm ok with -- I'd probably wheel them (ie: sell CC's) if I got assigned. I'm bullish on precious metals. \--- The strategy only makes sense on an asset you want to hold / are bullish on with high IV. The idea is that you want to collect THETA / decays - while betting it'll go up. So keep rolling the CSPs so they roughly replicate the price movement of shares -- while being lower risk. \--- I'm running a daytrading strategy ontop of it - effectively allowing me to replicate the functionality of trading shares (while still pocketing the theta decays). If the CSPs strike gets too far away from the share price - I roll them.

KO DD: Defensive Cash-Flow Play in a Volatile Market
Picked up 500 shares of KO @ 67.45. **Thesis:** In a volatile macro environment, capital tends to rotate into defensive names with consistent cash flow. KO generates \~$10B+ in annual FCF, has pricing power globally, and is a dividend aristocrat. **Valuation:** Trading \~23x earnings, roughly in line with historical averages. Dividend yield \~3%. **Catalysts:** Rate cuts, defensive rotation, pricing increases in emerging markets. **Risks:** Strong USD impacts international revenue, declining soda consumption in developed markets. **Position:** 500 shares @ 67.45 Not expecting moonshots — just steady returns (even a Swing trade is fine as long as I make small profit). Position attached. Who's with me? https://preview.redd.it/jo8100gsf4cg1.jpg?width=921&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dd45c886e797adc76bb2651f091fb0850bdfbec1

Alright, this Iran shit might have legs. A couple of days ago Iran's central bank said they're gonna stop publishing official USD exchange rates, since the free market rates were 3x higher. This caused a huge inflation spike, and now food/gas/etc. costs 3x more within 48 hours. Iranians were *already* protesting, and now they're *super* fucking pissed. MangoBibi's just looking for a reason.

Isnt it a meme that the us vaults are empty? Why would they trust the USA after it deleted all of Russia's legally obtained USD? Europe do be cucked tho, they'd probably let us take whatever I hope not to come off like a bond vigilante, but I don't see why Japan wouldn't sell off some assets if their economy gets bad

QIMC (QIMCF for USD) brother. They’re about to start mining, they’ve got the permits and baseline assessments done. You won’t 10x without a little risk and this one looks good. Multiple catalysts coming in the next few months alongside huge investor and governmental investment in the sector.

Oh, I thought we were talking about real numbers and not accounting bullshit. Because this fact wasn’t hard to find either: MicroStrategy owns 673,783 bitcoins as of Jan. 5, 2026. MicroStrategy states the average purchase price as $66,384.56 USD per bitcoin with a total cost of $33.139 billion USD.

these guys get off to USD being trash even tho they are paid in USD at their job. or they are non-American and if that is the case probably make a fraction of the wages we make. Corn is worse because it can correct by 50% and because it has zero inherent value, nobody could argue that.

Population of America: 350m 350m x 2k = 700b Average Networth in US: -58k USD Just watched a video where some guy went walking around the streets of the US asking if they would like to join the Mexico, they all said no. But when asked, “what if you got 2k each?”, they all changed their answer to yes and said something like “we don’t like the US that much” Anecdotal evidence and I’m sure their would be strong opposition. Probably not a vast majority (70%) but if all they need is 50%+, I think it would work. 700b is like a rounding error for the Mexico and would give 2k to each resident of the US. My only question is how to profit off it? MMGA hats 🧢 ? Idk
