You're pretending this is all normal... that's brave. The market is divested from the economy, there's very real concern of stagflation... JP all but said so directly, Buffet's market indicator is saying everything is overbought by like, 220%, the jobs numbers are getting dicked, who knows if the government data is being delivered in earnest... there's silver shortages, credit stress is increasing, people are losing SNAP benefits which is literally money funneling back through local economies...

Millons of snap users are children, seniors, disabled, and vets. Many others are working adults that don't get paid enough on purpose.

Short answer is that the minimum wage has remained stagnant since the 1960’s or 70’s while CEO pay has skyrocketed. I mean it’s no secret that the minimum wage isn’t a living wage in this country. So about half of SNAP recipients also work a job and also fall under the poverty line. Then there are survivor benefits, and then people that can’t get employment easily such as the old, the handicapped, etc.

Thoughts on puts on US Grocery stores like kroger, seems like a solid play with people losing their snap benefits on the 1st amid the government shutdown. Snap and food stanps is a big driver of sales at the beginning of the month. Possibility it impacts thanksgiving and Christmas sales as well.🤔
