Can someone explain to me why a short/inverse iron condor on SLV wouldn't be free money right now? SLV currently is sitting at $65. In a months time, is it not reasonable to assume that it won't be in the range between $60 - $70 given how volatile it's likely to be? Looking at the options chain right now, this would be a 1:5 payout if SLV doesn't stay within $60-$70 in a month. Am I missing something? Why shouldn't I just YOLO everything in right now?

Nice I bought leaps and SLV/SLVR in September and dca'd out on the way up, I still hold some SLVR because I think the miners should get some more upside. I'm too dumb for strangles but will probably start to sell SLV CSPs when it hits low 60s 😆

I'm essentially looking at it in terms of how many SLV shares can I acquire as "house shares" with my current realized, along with waiting for IV to dip enough so I can buy a weighed strangle at a discounted premium. I made most my gains from aggressive CSP rolling, but am now waiting to execute a better-engineered wheel.
