Imagine how bad of a company you have to be to pay an increasing dividend for like 20 years and still the market drives the stock's p/e down below 5. And yet they hold. Even when they know in their heart that the growth will never return. Their equity value will continue to shrink and no matter how much of a dividend it pays it will never cover the opportunity cost of investing that principle in an actual sound company. So remember, yes.. you may be regarded.. but at least you don't own CMCSA.

Bought GOOG calls on september 22, Dec 19th expiration, 260 strike price, stock price then was 254. Immediately it tanked and only went down or sideways. Whenever it went up it would crash back down. Eventually I sold for a 400$ loss on a contract that cost 1400$. Immediately after I sold it shot up and it was worth 2600$ at close. Could be as high as 4k tomorrow if Goog goes past 290.
