I’m buying small quantities of some inverse ETFs as a hedge with some of the premiums from the covered calls I’m selling. It’s nothing but theta right now. I may buy some long dated qqq puts if I can accumulate the money for them via calls before it starts to dump, the longer it crab crawls the more I’ll have to hedge. But yeah I’m in risk management mode now and thinking how do I lose as little as possible without completely turning ghey. I’d love to see one last bull rip but the macro signs all point to 🌈🐻🧺

my problems holding even with what i did i could have made a lot more..i did that on qqq when it was at 18and19 got 0dteP@17 and a 1dteC@26..The 17 put won and i sold out of both. That was long before it even got below 18 though ended up going to 16

Well this sub is hyped on SPY and QQQ so…..

One day before BOJ says that there is a very high chance of rate hike soon. On that day the volume of QQQ and SPY was like 2x more than avg. I think Big Money got the news before us so they dump one last time and after that we just slowly go up until today. In other words I think BOJ rate hike is priced-in. Its probably why we go down like 5% from the top because Big Funds that play with Carry Trade slowly sell their US stock to get out of Carry Trade. If there is a 🎅 Rally this year then I think it gonna start this Friday. I think Big Money want the market to go flat because of Profit Take after the pump from last week and wait to see what happen with Venezuela. So probably flat until Friday.
