Rich people can prop the markets up (buy enough to change sentiment and let momentum do the rest) making themselves even richer and giving them more money to prop up markets even more. We'll never see another crash again. Forever calls.

"It’s never about some retail based indicator like MACD, RSI, etc. One of the earlier prop firms I worked at did a phenomenal job instilling in me how this type of trading really functions. Take $AMZN for instance: If it’s 1:00 p.m. on a Wednesday and the top of the order book (NBBO) rotates 500% more in the last five minutes than it typically does at that exact time on a Wednesday, while more than 55% of the trades in that bucket are executing on the offer, can we model out what the expected returns would look like over the next ten minutes? Can we go one step further and bucket this activity by which exchange the aggressor was transacting at (ARCA/NSDQ/ BTY etc)? My example is intentionally rudimentary, but the point is that when you start thinking about flow trading through the lens of price aggressors shifting supply and demand, and how those imbalances ripple through market pricing, it opens up an entire chamber of combinatorics. From there, you can generate a bunch of potential strategies built around real flow dynamics. They never last forever, but when you catch a footprint, it can go on for a while before others source that out."

The last two times the UK/US 10 year spread was this high was the Liz Truss meltdown and the GFC. I think that big money is flowing out of the UK and into US bonds and stocks. For one, Britain is terminally fucked, but their wealth heading overseas would be exactly the prop-up that the failing US government and economy need.
