Kindest Regards, I've been here for many years, and this is my magnum yolo opus, over $300k Q: Why is $POET a rare opportunity? A: Generally, retail investors can't buy into upstarts until they IPO. Poet has been public for a long time, but then they hired a literal genius Dr. Suresh Venkatesan as CEO who recently transformed the company into a photonics unicorn. This is a chance to buy the "picks and shovels" of tomorrow at the low prices usually reserved exclusively for your wife's boyfriend. Q: Why are these huge gains not priced in already? A: The technology and opportunity landscape are new and complex. Try researching some of Dr. Venkatesan's patents... it's enough to make your ape brain hurt. Try understanding why these patents on wafer-scale manufacturing and photonic design are not reproducible by other companies. It's difficult to quantify their moat, and even more difficult to predict the total addressable markets because they are nascent. Q: How do we know these products really work? A: Smart people say they work, they win awards, they keep forming partnerships with the big legitimate players like Mitsubishi Electric, Luxshare Tech, Foxconn Interconnect Technology, Mentech, Sivers Semiconductors, Semtech Corporation, NTT (biggest telecommunications company in Japan), etc. Q: What if ALL of those fall through in the near term? A: Photonics is the future, copper wiring is not the future. There are addressable markets that are not yet appreciated, for example an undisclosed stock trading firm asked for Poet tech because they wanted faster high-speed trading. Robotics, healthcare, communications, data, there are so many future applications for photonics across the entire world... Do you think everything in the future will depend on copper wiring? Q: When moon? A: Within a week or two the market will realize that Celestial Al is built on Poet's proprietary tech. A couple days ago Celestial Al was bought by Marvell for over $5 billion, under the advisement of Morgan Stanley who has been rapidly increasing their investment in Poet, while Amazon has been issued warrants contingent upon purchasing Celestial Al products for AWS. This hasn't been priced in yet because Celestial Al (CEO was Poet employee) and Poet have been tight-lipped about *exactly how much* Celestial Al is built on Poet tech. Following this there will be modest purchase orders announced from some of the other companies mentioned, followed by announcements of expanded production, followed by large purchase orders, and of course more next-gen patents filed by Suresh. It will be a roller coaster up and down until a ten bagger. Q: Is this an amazing risk/reward ratio? A: Yes. Poet is currently at bottom value despite sitting on $300 million cash and all of their intellectual property. Snags aren't going to crash this from here, but future announcements should reward in multiples.
