Privileged generation that faced relatively little true adversity bc their boomer parents had excess wealth that was used to provide bailouts & security. Many of them righteously fought for civil rights & the like, but ultimately ended up having a relatively easy path building wealth. They often don't recognize their own privilege because their own parents - i.e. boomers - had it even better/easier than them, although many Gen Xers were able to take advantage of their privileged times to build/create, market, and sell objectively cool shit. But now it's often Gen Xers who cockblock millennials from having the same opportunities as they did. They tend not to recognize their own privilege because their own parents - i.e. boomers - had it even better/easier than them. At least boomers were parented by the the Silent Generation, which lived through the god damn Great Depression & instilled real values in their kids. But at this point, most of the memes & stereotypes about "Boomers" are way more applicable towards Gen X.
