I think the problem right now is that the AI bubble isn't an AI bubble.  It's an OpenAI bubble. Like so many from MSFT to NVDA just expect OpenAI to be the default winner but OpenAI is getting leapfrogged by Gemini and even losing to open source Chinese LLMs. Not even deepseek, but stuff like qwen, kimi k2 and GLM 4.6.

I believe NVDA will drop 100% today and be delisted from NASDAQ tomorrow

Have to say, I still haven't made heads or tails about exactly how today went. I expected a small correction from the NVDA bounce due to the bad macro environment, but I didn't expect the market to drop literally 4% from top to bottom. I had puts I'd bought earlier in the day I'd sold for a modest profit, only to watch them go another thousand dollars each ITM. I normally use the VIX as an indicator of a trend reversal and much of the time it's accurate. Towards close with the VIX hovering around 11-14% range, I saw a gradual downward trend and bought QQQ calls only to watch the Nasdaq fall apart towards close despite a declining VIX. So it put into question my normal way of trading. I still don't even know what the dominant factor behind today's drop was. It could be just an overlap of them and not due to any one factor or another alone - rate cut fears, Lisa Cook comments about private credit and stock valuations, or accusations of NVIDIA cooking their books in some way. Feels like an entire trading week happened today.
