AMD bulls never made sense. Buying a second fiddle company that may possibly, one day in the distant future, get more than low single digits marketshare in the GPU market. Even after pullback, AMD is still ridiculously more expensive than the market leader with over 90% share. Now Google's TPUs are the hottest thing in AI. No wonder it's tanking along with NVDA.

Aren't their TPU's pretty much only good for running on GOOGLE software? Like they are good for google cloud, running gemini...but that's about it? I understand the market is large, but not quite as large as NVDA's market...People saying they are going to be eating NVDA lunch are themselves out to lunch I would think.

The market is forward looking. NVDA is projecting half a trillion revenue in the next two years. If Google is taking away some of that revenue now then future projections change. That is what you're seeing happen now.
