thx for the payoff matrix, I did consider atm calls first and was waiting for a good entry point but nke pumped the last days (missed the drop to 65 yesterday), so the payoff isn't that enticing anymore. I will size the play very small and if the pump isn't high enough cut my losses completly after the earnings call, if it pumps decently I will reduce my position a bite and let the rest ride until feb

Just allocate less capital to it then. The IV is quite low on NKE so shares + CC's or CSPs don't make much sense on it. You can buy calls - they have a decent payoff - but they'll be very volatile. To compensate - just don't allocate a ton of capital to them.

Thought about nke right after lulu played out. iv seems not that high on this one. Shares + atm or slightly otm put seems to have pretty good odds and quite limited max loss

retail as a whole has absolutely crushed it. No way I'm betting agianst the sector here. ASO +15% this week on ER's LULU +10% AEO +25% GAP +25% since ER's ANF +60% others... Literally every retailer is mooning hard. NKE is next week, I'm 100% betting on them too. Easy money

Honestly just long all retail. NKE is next week, I'm 100% getting in on it. Literally everyone has mooned 10-50%+ since ER's. GAP: \~20% AEO: over 25% ANF: over 50% ASO: \~10% LULU: \~10%

That's the general trend. Literally the last 5 I've been following have all jumped 8-30% on ER's. NKE is bound to follow the trend, right?

yeah iirc I got fuk because I was aiming for $80, it went close that, my calls were already ITM, then 10oct happened to the entire mkt and NKE never recovered

NKE might be fun to play - I like the sector in general. I've never gone broke taking profit - highly recommend you do it well before calls expire. I often have 75-90% of the time left when I exit my calls

$MU (obvious) and $NKE NKE I heard people saying "it's gonna go up because world cup hype next year" last ER I played it, cuz price looked interesting, I got the direction (up) right, but I got greedy, didn't sell calls at +100% cuz I was hoping for even more and in the end my monthlies calls expired worthless :(
