That bubble on CVNA has gotta pop at some point. They have a lot of debt, barely any amount of net worth, and 1% earnings for their market cap.. they should barely be valued at $100, let alone where its at right now. If upcoming earnings misses its gonna come crashing down.

For most Americans and Canadians, this is the only way they'll have any sort of net worth at retirement age, it's a form of forced savings.  Home ownership is the incentive to pay the mortgage, meanwhile the bank is making absolute bank off the backs of couples that are emotionally attached to their houses.

🚀 Why Tullow Oil ($TLW) could go to the moon (high‑risk, high‑reward thesis)

reddit_post
📉 Negative (-0.72)
2 3 EN u/VeraxEthos r/wallstreetbets

Not financial advice. This is a deep‑value / distressed bet, not a safe investment. Why the setup is interesting: • Ridiculous valuation – ~£100m market cap on a business doing $1bn+ revenue • Equity is priced like it’s going bust before 2026 • Yet Ghana (the country) is economically incentivised to keep Tullow operating • Refinancing is the only thing holding the share price down The real bull case: ✅ Refinancing without dilution = existential risk gone ✅ Jubilee infill wells are working again (>10kbpd per well reported) ✅ Oil above ~$70 = strong cashflow, above ~$90 = debt melts fast ✅ Equity is essentially a leveraged call option on survival + oil Why it moves hard: • Thin order book • Retail + distressed name • It only takes £50–100k of net buying to move it ~1% • When sentiment flips, prices don’t walk — they gap Realistic outcomes: – Bad outcome: dilution → equity pain – Base recovery: 2–3x if refinancing lands – Bull oil case: 4–7x if oil spikes & debt falls quickly This is not a “buy and forget” stock. It’s a binary outcome play — either refinancing clears and the stock rerates hard, or it doesn’t. That asymmetry is exactly why it’s hated… and why it’s interesting.

Intel said it had a net loss of $600 million, or 12 cents per diluted share. In the year-ago period, Intel reported a net loss of $100 million, or 3 cents per share.

My LEAPS are at a $5 strike expiring Jan 2028 so it’s still a gamble but I like the risk profile: $7 or above and I’ll break even, above that and it’s highly leveraged gains. $15 by Jan 2028 would net me $250k from a $50k investment. % return could be much higher with high OTM LEAPS but I’m not well capitalized enough to take the risk. As far as rationale for price target, it just seems clear to me that Aurora is the obvious leader with a lot of institutional backers in an area with extremely high barriers to entry. Challenger risk is somewhat low, and while Kodiak and others are grasping for the market Chris’ crawl / walk / run approach is likely to build a reputational moat with risk-averse buyers in the trucking space for the first few years. They have so many compounding network effects built into them and if you add in federal regulation streamlining they’re set up to capture most of the TAM. And while buyers may be risk averse institutional innovation leads are also under heavy pressure to find solutions. DCF from estimated 2032 revs lands me around $40 but there is the monopoly premium if they keep their lead.

After conducting several rounds of expert calls with the meteorological expert panel known as chatgpt, claude & gemini, as well as analyzing the latest weather models from anime pfp's on twitter, I have arrived at the conclusion that America's energy infrastructure is about to be hit by the Mother Of All Snow Storms (MOASS). As a great American once said, never let a good crisis go to waste. To figure out how to capitalize on this opportunity, I looked to the work of this highly helpful Texas Consumer Association NGO that explains the "massive windfall key industry players made during the freeze. **Energy Transfer posted its highest quarterly net income on record**, more than three times its previous best quarter". [https://www.texasconsumer.org/news-press/gas-sellers-reaped-11-billion-windfall-during-texas-freeze](https://www.texasconsumer.org/news-press/gas-sellers-reaped-11-billion-windfall-during-texas-freeze) $ET made a killing off Winter Storm Uri in 2021, thanks to a massive energy storage and logistics network of assets that was primed to capitalize on market dislocations from the crisis. Just look at their CEO, I am sure glad to be on his side of the table on these energy deals. I am betting on a repeat of the 2021 bonanza over this weekend, hence the yolo. https://preview.redd.it/n2fx6o4siyeg1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=417c0b55c8d5c923d3682137a575850d66a40eba Disclosures: I am not a financial professional, my own findings and financial decisions were made based on AI slop and trust me bro twitter research, and should not be the basis for anyone else's decisions. https://preview.redd.it/vywfnyyfjyeg1.jpg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8c07397e7971e3c69f2e7b443503454479e4d473

Yes, that’s a net positive if we have all the labor ready to go and we don’t currently. I think the best case scenario is to stretch this narrative out like 5-10+ yrs out then we can talk. Edit: Im bullish on the AI trade long term but let’s not kid ourselves. VCs are throwing too much money into companies that they shouldn’t. It’s time we all decide and start picking out winners and losers because things are slowing down and the money tree‘s branches are looking kinda bare.

When will redditors understand that rich means a net worth of $30-50m+ (and that’s only the entry level point, where the real power plays begin at $500m, and that’s still far from rocket and mega yacht money), not a measly $1m which won’t even buy you a shitty house in many places? Heck I managed to lose 10% of $1m last month (and a third of $1m in the past year) and it was easy so I could probably easily lose $1m in a matter of days on 0dtes, but no way in hell I would lose $50m because that’s actually lifestyle money.

Oh and next time you’re gonna give advice on Reddit you should post your age, net worth, and career because that will really reveal what this site is all about. Here’s what I’d expect to see: 23, $100m, highly successful tech founder or hedge fund quant or OF star 37, three dollars, cashier or speech therapist or whatever making 32k a year I’ve come to believe that this site is full of young and rich and ambitious and fresh people who’ve figured out the game already and they’re the real ones qualified to give the advice, and then you have old and worn out and broke people still living in their parents’ basement who can’t realize that they screwed up and will tell everyone else on this site that even the mildest ambitions are completely out of reach (spoiler alert: you don’t need rich parents; you need accountability and work ethic). At least on this sub people are actually playing with real money and probably have good careers or got lucky gambling, and for those of us who don’t have money don’t ever presume that we don’t have amazing high paying careers but we’re just addicted to gambling and lost all the money we’ve made and the only number that should matter is the amount of money coming into our bank account not the actual balance (have a pretty good tech job and my side project is already doing close to $2m arr on an annualized basis and I didn’t need any money from my parents). Nevertheless you continue to do you…
