This might sound stupid but why buy a house when your still going to be paying rent regardless property taxes insurance maintenance etc go live in a private 2 story house and call it a day for the moment then rack up money save get a loan on the money you have saved put that as down payment towards a crib and then slowly start paying off the house easily

Sounds profound, but take a serious look on Nvidia beyond buzzwords. Imagine you are giving a loan to someone. They offer you to pay back the loan in 40 years without any interest. And you are arguing that it is a good deal, because this business is so safe that the money is virtually guaranteed to come in again. Maybe it will not even take 40 years but only 30. Only problem with that is, that if you buy a 30 year treasury instead, you collect a premium. You are betting on one thing: Someone will pay even more than you did to have an even longer period before them to recover their investment. And as long as people do that it is a good deal, because you can sell the loan off to those people. If at any point people stop paying more money to recover their money in even more years without interest, you are stuck with the loan you gave. Then Nvidia is still a great company with massive earnings. But you will only earn less than a cent dividend per year for every 200 bucks you invested, If you strip off names and speculations and sectors and reduce the deal to cashflows, Nvidia is not a buy by a longshot.

Hi follow regards πŸ˜€ I have been long term lurker, since 2020. Also made weird leveraged buys back then then didn't touch anything untill 2023 when I just staterted picking random stocks and bought and sold with profit and bought where is down. Up untill yesterday I had invested 5700$ monthly my own funds and it was BITF and AMD. I closed all my AMD position yesterday and withdrew 7k$ to pay off high interest personal loan that i would need still to pay for 31 months. I closed my about half BITF position with profits to open SPXL 2500$ positon and in BITF is left ~3500$ long positin and opened also 86$ 2x leveraged short positon. I feel weird, i feel like i needed to keep my positions open for future gains... I still plan to just buy whatever i have left monthly. I just feel weird. And yes I know I have not invested and I dont option trade as it is really not an option in europe and etoro. But still I dont feel good. As of yesterday I was up 133% this year. I missed high ups of bitf but still was up 100% when I closed half positions yesterday. How to shake off this feeling like I lost in future ? By the way actually I dont know what i am doing generally- was just DCA'ing all thebway to 80's this year AMD and all the way to 0.82 of BITF. And i am planning to just do it continiuosly for upcomming time. Maybe I will take out another loan just to full port it in spxl πŸ˜€ does not sound so bright. My positions that was closed yesterday.
