Dipped out of everything but VZ, VG, NEXT, GLD and SLV this morning. Market's going insane, up 0.40 in the morning, down 0.20 as soon as it opens. The macro's starting to crack in my opinion. I'd rather have powder for when they inevitably correct this thing. Nat gas is a good play going into winter. VZ has a good dividend and is relatively defensive. Metals are a good debasement play. I could be wrong, but I think we're chopping until a correction at some point relatively soon.

this morning when i checked, gold futures shows backwardation which, according too google, is rare. backwardation means short supply. GLD holds gold bullion which responds to spot price. ok, i am just trying to find a life in gld.

GLD is cool again amidst tech earning weeks. Can't make this shit up.

So now that all the call buyers on gld and slv got obliterated in the past two weeks it’s relatively safe to be buying the physical at or under spot (whatnot/ebay will sell Morgan dollars under spot all the time). I see gold and silver as the outperforming asset on a 10 year horizon with infinitely more safety than investing in spy or single tech stocks. Our economy is redesigning its end goal it used to be prices to infinity now it’s prices to 0 (see frontier air, tesla cost per mile, tv, amazon canned chicken 25% off Costco’s price of 2020 ($1.49 ea). We actually are headed to abundance. As stocks and prices orient towards 0 im guessing silver and gold will remain the universal stores of value that all countries will have demand for vs American stocks could fade on the macro.

Serious talk now- gld seems like it should retest 3900 and evening/night should be ideal for that, but it seems to have quite a lot of support here

historically gold is a safe haven if there is a big market downturn. but it does not appear that gld has a sign of life.
