I had 15 contracts of SLV expiring in 2028 for the 55 strike, and 10 contracts of GLD expiring in 2028 for the 500 strike. I bought all these contracts on December 31, 2025. I sold both contracts for a combined 3.5k gain. In 3 weeks time, since I sold those contracts, they have gone up to a combined value of 150k. If I held those contracts, I'd have been over 90k in profit, as opposed to just 3.5k. Happens to us all. Move on. Find the next banger. Gotta learn to move onto the next one in this, otherwise you'll drive yourself nuts. God Speed to many bangers in the future.
