Why is ETH dropping

That’s been my same thought and why I hadn’t given up on it. Told myself that I was going to at least wait until this FOMC as a last hope that ETH would positively react to the rate cut, but instead future cuts are now uncertain and ETH puked. Feeling like if it ever does decide to pump to 6k it’ll have a flash crash down to 3,500 before it goes up. There’s just no interest to buy it and now that market made this massive rip higher the last couple days I would not be surprised that we see some selling in equities and I doubt crypto can hold itself up on its own.

Yeah I’ve been buying ATM calls every time ETH goes under 4k, even this week I was up 120% on Monday, then I’m retarded and diamond hand them or even double down and they expire worthless. Can’t hold a pump for the life of it. And I just know it’ll rip to 6k as soon as I give up lol

I’ve given up on ETH, was actually trading it perfectly and limiting my downside risk to reposition with more shares for the way up. However, after it reverses all pumps and forms another lower high for the 10th time I’ve gotten a little tired of waiting. It wouldn’t be so horrible if it wasn’t for the fact that everything else in the market was pumping and crypto just could not seem to get out of its own way. Now that rate cuts are not a given, tech is showing mixed results, I see very little upside to crypto which may just mean that this is actually the time to long but I think I’m out

feels like that friday liquidation has left major PTSD in the crypto market, since then every pump has consistently sold off shortly after. Narrative was that crypto was just waiting for more rate cut confirmations, which is exactly what we saw this morning, news was enough to push markets higher at open but ETH, for example, just puked all the gains since the 8:30 announcement and much more. I really want to believe that this is still just a massive shakeout as institutions accumulate before a massive rip similar to the summer but I don't know if I can continue to validate that idea when we continue to print lower highs and show such strong selling volume
