They literally own the biggest social media sites + are the 2nd biggest ad company in the world in terms of ad revenue. Aside from the one time BBB tax, they consistently destroy revenue, profit, and EPS targets by double digit %. I completely disagree with their rationale for capex spending, but the core business is an absolute rock. Ads need social engagement, and they own most of social engagement on the internet.

Growth and Engagement Acceleration at Robinhood in Q3 2025

**Robinhood delivered a strong third quarter with meaningful beats on both revenue and earnings**[.](https://imgur.com/a/SzTwSO8) The company reported **$1.21 billion** in revenue compared to the consensus estimate of $1.17 billion, and **diluted EPS of $0.30** versus $0.23 expected. Growth was driven by rising customer engagement and stronger performance in crypto and options trading. **Customer assets and deposits are accelerating.** Net Deposits reached **$7.2 billion** in the quarter, up from $6.8 billion in Q2, supported in part by the Bitstamp integration. Funded customers grew to **26.3 million** (+8 percent YoY) and Total Platform Assets reached **$295 billion**, up **106 percent YoY**. **Key business drivers continued to expand.** Net interest revenue increased to **$340 million** (+82 percent YoY), while transaction-based revenue climbed to **$583 million** (+74 percent YoY), led by **crypto revenue of $204 million** (+165 percent YoY) and **options revenue of $252 million** (+60 percent YoY). **Overall takeaway:** Robinhood is benefiting from rising user activity and asset inflows, with deposits and trading engagement reinforcing platform revenue growth across multiple segments. Meta’s EPS would have easily surpassed expectations if not for a one-time tax payment tied to the Big Beautiful Bill. Despite that, their ad revenue continues to climb, showing that TikTok hasn’t been nearly as disruptive as many expected at the start of 2025 when its U.S. ban looked uncertain. Threads is also proving to be a major success, now surpassing Elon’s X in monthly active users. That creates yet another ad channel within Meta’s ecosystemβ€”one that can be monetized at scale with minimal additional cost. Beyond ads, Meta is moving into retail hardware, starting with the well-received Meta Glasses. With their heavy AR investment and growing consumer trust, Meta looks positioned to be the first company to deliver a true smart-glasses experience capable of powering a fully AR workspace. Entering this segment could open a high-margin revenue stream far beyond social media. And despite all of this growth, Meta is still trading roughly 18% below its all-time high, while most of the other β€œMagnificent Seven” tech giants are sitting within about 3–8% of their peaks.

Tesla is shrinking, they've lost more than 50% of their market shares, they're fully dependent on government subsidies like EV and carbon credits, they missed huge on earnings (again) and reported a 40% decline on EPS, PE is 315 and is expected to quadruple by the end of Q4. Their tech is shit, they train their models on their customers driving-data, which is why the autopilot ignores speed limits, randomly breaks on the highway, ignores red lights and stop signs, etc. They're behind the competitors on every metric. The CEO is a crook who paid Trump a quarter of a billion to get access to the government, he used that power to shut down the 19 ongoing Tesla-probes, as well as USAID which will result in 2.4M preventable deaths per year. It was overvalued when the CEO was crying and begging people to buy/hold 6 months ago, it's even more so now. The Tesla cult is war worse than the GameStore cult.

Do you think anything these people do is reported or legal? 2 earnings ago Elon lied about "forgetting" to report btc losses on Tesla's balance sheet. After options expired and the stock didn't crater they subtly did an EPS revision down. He is buying his own stock and not filing with the SEC. He's probably doing it via proxy buys or an alt brokerage, and no that's not a conspiracy after hearing him whine on the last earnings call.
