Oh I don't doubt the world runs on oil. I'm doubting if kidnapping a dictator will give the US a free pass to take Venezuela's oil and do what they want with it. They already have another leader, and won't want to be exploited and used by the US. Which brings me to my earlier point - I'm not sure CVX will benefit at all, and certainly not for the next few years.
