In Australia, demand for evs hasn't dried up but BYD is stealing all the competition, we keep getting new ev brands every month lol. Byd just recently launced their mini hatchback which is priced at 25k aud, around $17k USD. They have comparable cars to model 3, y (seal and sealion) that look much nicer and bigger batteries and cost less. This is happening in Europe, Asia, south amercia, etc. If Byd comes to US, it will eat tesla alive.
