i'd agree a few years ago but the administration and market are so ridiculous currently that a full switch to btc overnight would almost not surprise me

BTC was initially created as an alternative to regulated currency. when it is already heavily regulated and gold/silver tokens already exist, there is absolutely no reason to reinvent the wheel and give another digital asset any relevance. literally no difference between BTC and GLD right now. except their market caps.
