i know i'm retarded, but is this approximately correct? let mstr nav ~= 1 mstr has to pay debt/dividend mstr sells/dilutes shares to do so mstr nav falls under 1 arbs sell btc to buy mstr (at nav = 1, $1 of mstr = $1 of btc so if nav goes under 1, then $1 of mstr is worth more than $1 of btc) btc goes down because of that selling nav goes back to 1 repeat forever

Dollars and gold both are less accessible than BTC, in my opinion. And that will be more true as the world becomes more connected to the internet. BTC can't hide behind borders.

If your home currency is weak, you're worried about volatility and you don't buy an asset that can move +/-80% in a year. And you can always buy dollars or gold, which spread or conversion rate will be lower than when buying BTC.

Whether you believe its a currency, or an asset, or neither. For people whose home currencies have high inflation risk, it's a great, widely available, seemingly unbiased holding that serves as a great hedge. Although I'm one of those suckers who sees value in BTC exchanges as well. So maybe just another ponzi scheme sucker. Or, maybe the world is moving towards forms of ownership that are more easily verifiable. Whether that's good or not, is not my concern. Moreso whether it's actually happening or not is my concern. The block chain is way more traceable than current monetary systems. And that's useful for people in power.

What's the case against? That it's too slow? That it can't become the sole currency worldwide? I can buy/sell BTC within like 20 seconds of deciding. That's fast enough for me still. The cases for still exist for me rn. I'm buying more if I get the chance. The room to grow, and the rate it does, are still faster than the average stock pick to me.

looking at the last two cycles. You might as well just stick with leverage tech etf, they rise faster than btc during recovery and fall less during crash. Same amount of effort in market timing is needed for both, given how correlate both are to each other. You get the better risk adjusted gain without all the wallet management extra work and the rug pull. Until the correlation diverge, it's really behave like a high beta tech stock tbh without the ability to put a p/e ratio on it.

personally i dont really mind if people gamble away their money on btc. People are adult and they can be responsible with their own decision. But the fact they used so much insane leverage and spread contagion every where they get margin call piss me off. Infecting every other high beta stock.

Are we talking BTC or corn from like October here? I’m lost on the lingo. Anyone thinking it will rise with the Yen carry trade unwinding and global liquidity being starved is a grade A retard. I can see a sucker’s rally back to $90k and then I personally think we get a very steep drop to $60-$75k, and then if the 4 year cycle is in play down to $40k. But until we get to those points we have no idea what the range or floor will be + depends on macro sentiments.

Shame I threw away a month's worth of profits just to roll META...and I'm still stuck in it and the disaster that is Oracle. Going forward probably only LULU and UNH for options and then use the proceeds to buy techy/BTC stuff via equities ike HOOD. These past two weeks have been too brutal for my psyche to do again. This morning I was looking at over 210k in losses before a bit of a recovery. Trading isn't fun if you can't sleep easy

This market is awesome! Basically just trade back and forth between 2x and 3x ETF’s and inverse ETF’s. I made more today than any day so far. It helped a lot that BTC price trend basically dictated the equity price movements I was trading.
