Had a little over 1,300 shares of ASTS, which I ended up selling this morning at $97.43. I was able to make some solid gains, but left at least an extra 4.5k on the table with where the stock is at right now. I say this to ask, that a big part of my issue still remains the same; when to take gains, and when to let things ride? I feel like I do a good job of buying dips, knowing when to go in and when to slowly DCA, however, when it comes to selling, I feel like I always react passively. I panic sold at 97 because I didn't wanna round trip my gains, but at the same time, I hate always leaving so much meat on the bone when I sell early.
