When literally every other comment or post in the stocks/investing threads on reddit is about rocket labs and ASTS, the top is definitely in. This (RKLB) is the easiest short of the year for me. Can't wait to see this back to $40 by May. Look at the chart. Up 150% in 6 weeks parabolic. Bearish divergence on the oscillators on significant timeframes. Also just hit the 1.618 fib extension from the recent move up. Anyone buying now is exit liquidity.

Hey man, this exact same thing happened to me on ASTS too. Made 80k on it but would've made 500k more if I just held my initial position lol. I think the crash in February on other stocks like Reddit scarred me forever from not taking profits. Whatever it is, don't feel too bad. You are not the only one with this experience.

I agree a lot of gain posts are sus but ASTS posts are probably the worst example to give. Not very many bots in that stock but instead just many people that feels validated enough to post gains, especially since holding it was relatively easy given its straightforward thesis once you gave it a chance.

ASTS should not even be worth half as much as it is... All theyve done is make a few satelites and $50 billion market cap... Zero proof of scalability or success... Meanwhile LUNR whos building moon lander, moon car, moon city etc with billions in contracts has only $3billion market cap...

So far I have been doing mostly CSP, I just set a buy order for 45 - 50% profit and forget about it. They are all stocks I don't mind owning long-term so there is the peace of mind. Also got lucky that both RKLB and ASTS started pumping within a few days of selling CSP

To see all the people showing their ASTS gains here and on the ASTS subreddit, makes me feel weird. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for all those folks who made out big with ASTS, and had the conviction to hold. At the same time though, I feel like I keep missing these life changing trades. I am in year 6 of following the markets closely, and I just feel like I am watching everyone make huge money besides myself. I was able to make some money off ASTS, but if I held, I'd be up another 35-40k. I just don't know how anyone can hold onto companies that run up this much, and still are in a pre-revenue phase. Maybe it's because I got burned early on a couple of trades, that I am always pessimistic and don't have diamond hands, but fuck man. I just want to hit on one of these life changing trades for once.

Maybe it's because I'm old enough to remember the pre-cellphone age, but no, I don't freak out in those scenarios. The new "always connected" paradigm is actually more jarring for me. We can already do those things, missiles since the 60s (PAVE PAWS) and phones since the 2000s (via GPS, tower triangulation, WPS, etc ). Those things are worth money, but they're *already fulfilled markets*, and people are pricing ASTS as if they're inventing the satellite.
